My (somewhat) local 76 station used to carry 100 octane gas at the pump - but it no longer has it... Does anyone have a source for gas +91 at the pump in OC or even surrounding areas? If so, please list the location, name, octane and price (if possible) thanks!

There is a gas station in West Covina outside of Los Angeles. Its off of Citrus and i10. It is a 76 and has 100 octane.

Newport Beach 76 off the 73 at Bonita Canyon (in a shopping center between MacArthur and the 73). The 76 in Laguna Niguel stopped carrying it, probably the one you're referring to. I was sad.

 

Thanks guys - I'm surprised at how few places carry it now. When I had my last old Mustang, a while ago, it seemed fairly easy to come by. Thanks!

If you find yourself stuck in North San Diego, the Rancho Santa Fe VP fuel has 100 Octane at $8.99/gal. It's on the corner of La Flecha and Via de Santa Fe off County Hwy S6 (Del Dios).

 

I was doing a google search and came across this posting in the 997 pages (i guess I should have done that before starting a thread). Some of the info may be outdated, but check out the prices on 100+ from a few years back.

Many Alliance gas stations also carry 100 octane unleaded at the pump and a few can get higher octane (up to 109 octane) by the 5 gallon drum.

 

I've been to the 76 off Bonita canyon. Owner is a nice guy also.

I dont know if any of you have researched it yet or have had a chance to run it but I have been mixing 50/50 91&E85 on mild modifications.

if you have a chance try it out but only after you have extensively done your research on it. Very nice power gains on forced induction but as far as NA applications goes its a toss up on that section.

 

Ace auto in HB on Adams and magnolia has racing gas in 5 - 50 gallon drums.
