If you drive north on Portola Pkwy a bit, you will find a shopping center on your right. There is a few food options, a grocery store, and a gas station in it. Check out a place called La Sirena Grill. It's very tasty.

Thanks for all the advice, really didn't want to waste lots of time looking for guys and not knowing who you are getting. Just booked a moving company, 2 guys 2 hours,, $160. Worth the money as I won't have to pick up or drop them off either.. everything coming together.

Not quite sure what you like to do with your car but if it's arriving soon, there's all sorts of track/race events scheduled in the winter time.

A really cool new activity roll-racing (like drag racing but from a rolling start). The next one is scheduled for Feb 22nd at Willow Springs. It's kinda a "mini" roll-race as usually these events are hosted at private airport airstrips and cover a distance of approx half mile. This one is only 1/3 mile and so suited for lower HP cars (see link for cars that have signed up already). There's a couple 911 turbos signed up and a cool way to meet the guys that also track their cars (in fact the next day, SpeedDistrict is renting Big Willow for a full track day if you want to try that).

This is the real SoCal car culture for people that actually like to drive their cars to the limit.

I made it, all moved in and really like my new place. Only bad thing was that my car got a few spots on the fender and hood where the car cover rubbed against the paint. Needs to be touched up. So any car events going on anytime soon ? Let me know if anyone would want to hang out maybe suggest some places to check out.

Went to vision motor sports today, Nice Porsche shop and I got a tour of the shop as they had a race 911 on the dyno.
