More "Good Stuff" From Park Place
I met John G at Boardwalk a few weeks ago with another member and got nothing but a good vibe from him. He took extra time with the 996 he was working on to get it perfect. The attention he took with the car he was working on was impressive - every detail was covered and he answered the clients questions and mine even though I wasn't spending any money that day. That is what I expect out of a Porsche dealership.
This isn't an issue of money - the issue is principal. I have a hard time giving my money away to people who I feel don't want to go the extra mile. It kills me because I have a 996 with 74k miles on it - **** is going to break. True story. I just don't understand how you can treat someone with the potential of spending more money down the way I was treated. I don't expect the red carpet to be rolled out but I think some "thank you's" and worry free service go a long way
Sucks man. Dealership experiences can be frustrating. You had a breakdown in the relationship and communication. Not really indicative of the quality to be expected from PP. I know at least one service person there and he is the best one I've ever encountered, and has quite the enthusiast following as a result
Whatever the case, some relationships are best to walk away from and start fresh elsewhere. At this point, it's all negative between you and them, it's time to cut and run.

I'm at the dealer now having some work done, my advisor walked me through the shop and the techs could not have been more accommodating. Jimmy the shop foreman who was knee deep in race cars took the time to talk to me about some performance upgrades on my car. In reading through this post Park Place seems to have a loyal following, maybe it's you?
