I posted this question on the kenwood forum, but I also wanted to ask the owners of Kenwood head units here. I am considering getting the DNX6960 and I have a question about iphone control. It is my understanding that if an iPhone is connected to the unit using the optional iPod/iPhone control cable, I won't be able to control the iphone using it's screen. Is this correct? If it is, then how can I circumvent this? I would like to be able to listen to streaming apps using my iPhone (Pandora, Slacker radio, Orb, etc). Is there a way of connecting the iPhone to the unit while retaining the ability to charge and use the iPhone's own screen for control?
