Speaker Replacement On 01 996 Tt

Does anyone here have a guide to use on how to swap out stock speakers and if so what size will fit. I am not looking for a loud bass kicking system, i would like a nice clear sound and believe i could accomplish this by swaping out the stock speakers. If i am not content i will then take into an audio shop for amp and head unit install.

Do yourself a favor and get in touch with Jamey Rawlings at Rawlings Audio. He's located in Monrovia, CA. He has a great kit for 911s and Boxsters that he has producing for many years. I just got one installed in my Boxster. The kit is complete and compact and sounds great.

You can do it yourself, but to replace the dash speakers will require some cutting and gluing to get the new speakers put in. You can usually find a direct replacement for the door pods.

Jamey's email is porschetunes@aol.com
