I was thinking of going to the Sebring Event (PCA) February 26 - 27th, so far there are 171 drivers registered how many is to many? Will it be a fun weekend or will it feel like driving on I - 95. I know Sebring is a fairly long track, curious of past events and number of participants? Registration closes this Saturday.

 

I'm registered but I'm pretty disappointed they let that many people register as I think that much traffic will really impact the weekend

 

I won't be able to make it, but I'd appreciate if you guys could report back on this thread with how it all went once you're back.

I just checked last night and there are 180 registrants!?! IIRC, other clubs limit to <100 @ Sebring (Chin caps at 90, IIRC). The price is good, but DE is one where I'd pay more to have more alone time. For those running,... have a safe and fun event.

 

I was concerned about traffic but it was not bad at all. It was a great event, very safe and fun. Suncoast/Gold Coast did a great job. It is a big track and for the most part traffic was not an issue. Highly recommend it in the future.

it's worth going up early to get the pit area, lot cooler, hope to run with you next time, saw you there last out for yellow but never passed up on the track

Awesome weekend, perfect weather, 70s and sunny. Good run groups, little crowded, but that's how NASA usually is. Headed to Sebring next month
