In these tough economic times, it can be a real challenge to keep race sponsers onboard for a long term commitment. Recently found out that YES Network owner Leo Hendry and Orbit Racing have parted ways for sponsership.

Thats too bad. It looked like Orbit was just getting in gear to really challenge the bigger Porsche runners like Alex Job, Kevin Buckler, Peterson Racing and the Ferraris. They had a very decent run this year in the ALMS series with some very capable drivers.

But like all levels of motosport, $@it hit the fan somewhere on issues that needed change I am sure. ( It is much crazier in F1 of course).

Rumor has it Hendry has something forming in the works. Lets hope they both can continue racing and us enjoy watching them.
