we are #36 on that list. 2:01.57 w/ unshaven street tires. Good enough for 1st place street tire class at the super street time attack. All in all "fast" is all relative...there's always faster out there.
HKE- which car are you talking about? There is a H1 Honda Challenge car which is very well sorted that sometimes runs in WC Touring that is extremely fast for a privateer, but not a front runner. I think he probably put something close to a 55 down. Is that what you are talking about? Major props to him. very well sorted car on RA1s I believe. Its probably a tad faster than the US Touring Car I drive which has a lot more development money in it.
Comparing laptimes without a guideline for comparision is stupid. :02's is crazy fast in some cars, and 1:55's in some cars is slow. It is all relative.

My best time out at big willow was a 1:28:241 in the car in my avatar. Its a 73 911E with a 996 fiberglass body...some mods
. I was 16 at the time(november of 2002), blew the motor a month later and haven't gotten a crack at since. Really itchin to get back out there.
Ran a 1:15:xx on the streets going clockwise, but that was before the bowl configeration they are running now.

Cal speedway infield 1.12
Laguna 1.46
I forget my sears point and thunderhill times, Its been a while since I've run those tracks.

yeah. streets have changed a lot in the last couple years. 1:15 without the bowl is totally possible.
The only times I have at Infenion are in a US Touring car. 1:52.0X is my lap record there during a race.

I really like running the horse thief mile up at willow springs. It remindeds me of when I used to drive on the mountain roads. Unfortunatly I dont have any times from running that track though. And that track is pretty harsh on my car.
at Buttonwillow 2:02's or :03's is fast relatively speaking. But not OMG crazy times.
My miata on NT01s #13 Clockwise on 3 blown shocks making 240 whp does sub 2:02's all day in 90+ degree heat.
I've put a NA RSX under 2 minutes there in good conditions. If you know a World Challenge team looking for a driver, let me know. lol
