If you can run a 1:49 at ACSW Roval & 1:29 at Big Willow on street tires.. then you need to join alms.

Im going to need video to back these up, seeing is believing.

sorry not biting.

I agree!!

Laptimes on those particular events are set within the regulations and official timing of Redline Time Attack. Tires were checked by officials after 3 hot laps, they were RS2/3 Hankooks which is an agressive street tire but not an R-comp like R888 or Hoosier.

Big Willow 1.29 I ran with a Formula Drift car which imo is a touch slower than my white wrapped 996TT 2WD in the avatar was. I unfortunately never got a chance to run my 02 996TT in "finished" spec.

On a sidenote, I have instructed at least 1 ALMS driver (who raced a GT3 Cup car this last season) and raced door to door with at least Acura's ALMS drivers less than a month ago in the 25H of Thunderhill.

Damn, some of you guys have smoking fast Laguna Seca laps! My best lap was a 1:49 in my C63 which is bone stock with Sumitomo HTR Z III's.

Think it's great to post up like this! It's really useful for potential Pcar buyers, or for someone changing, to get a feel how for how fast the next pot car can run, with different degrees of mods, experience, conditions etc. Keep it flowing!

I agree. I'm looking to get some bucket seats and a quaife differential sometime this year. That along with some more seat time should help tremendously. I'll post here as the year progresses. No plans for anything like headers, plenum or tune at this time due to budget constraints. Step at a time.

I went out to the track for the first time ever, with my first Porsche ever (a recipe for disaster, right?). ha Anyway, did a best of 1:46.8 with my stock 2009 Boxster (no mods) and street tires at Big Willow. Is that decent?
