Porsche 997-1 to 997-2 led drl front light conversion instructions needed. HELP
Hi all, just wondered is there anybody on here that has done the led drl (gen2) front light conversion yet to a 997 gen1.
I have done the rears which was as simple as it gets but i believe the front conversion entails cutting and splicing wires.
i currently have all the parts to retro fit including the control unit, my local OPC will also code in/ activate the new lights for me but i need to know what wires to cut and which wires to join,
please can somebody help, i know im not the first in the world to do this conversion but cant seem to find anybody willing to share their knowledge with me.
Regards 997t
Hi all just to update you, found a porsche technician from an opc who did the wiring for me and charged me £250 including changing the settings for the drl feature on a PIWIS, , i also added a turbo bootlid and rear bumper and 15 mil spacers to the rear, car looks awsome and really fat at the rear. if you live in the uk i can put you in touch with the guy who did it for me.
Sorry i forgot to resize pictures, also bought a private numberplate to hide the real age of car. 1 final thing, hardtop is from a 996 and cost me £100 from ebay, b argain of the year ehh? car looks £85000 worth.
Photos removed for some reason, look in my photo album for finished product.

Considering to convert as well. Do you now have the wiring instruction that you can share. My existing 997 front bumper got hit so planning to replace the bumper with 997.2 version but wanted to find out if wiring can be done. Thanks!
