Best Thing for you is to spend tons of time in the Driver seat... The more you learn about the car the faster it will get.

I put in K&N kit in my 2000 3.2 liter carreara cabriolet. For the money I really couldnt tell much of a difference.
Now I been researching headers cadilatic converters and mufflers. I'm not impressed with those either. So now im researching ECU upgrade. If thats not good enough Im gonna save my 10 grand for Fabspeed turbo kit. That sounds like it rocks!

I always wondered (day dreams!) if the gt3 heads would work on the m96. If they did they may offer some gains.

Hey KJ, make sure to check out the Fabspeed Air Intake and Exhaust upgrade for improved power and torque. It will also produce a nice sporty and deep sound that will really put a smile on your face so you can enjoy the car more. I would do with Comp Air Intake, X Pipe Sport Cats and Maxflo Muffler. Let me know if you have any questions and PM me if you are interested, and I will make a member special on the package.
thanks

ECU tuning alone should get you some great gains. Combined with an air intake and exhaust, I'd not be surprised if you saw 100+bhp. AMS tunes the 996's; they're really great, worth a look if you haven't already.

Dude its a N/A car! 100+bhp???? Yeah with NOS. Best advise is to sell your car and get a turbo. Supercharger/turbo kit for your car is 12k plus. And with all that work you will still not beat a k16 car with a flash. Hope this helps.
