Wheel suggestions/pics for 2009 Shelby GT500

Looking to get wheels in the near future. Want to see ideas for 20 inch wheels for a Vapor with black stripe 2009 GT500. I have one wheel in mind but, would like to see pics of what anyone has. Like chrome or piano black....Think that would be best with my car....

Thanks to anyone who can help with pics of wheels on or off a Shelby.

What did you have in mind? I have seen a few I like. I believe the other person I spoke with was on the Forgestar F14. Piano black..or chrome. I would like to see wheel pics but, really best to see them on a car...either real or photoshopped. I can provide a pic of my car....for you to photoshop wheels

Let me know!

Still looking guys....also I am looking to be at no more than $3k wheels/tires. Just so you know. Sorry I can't swing $3k plus for wheels alone. I want to put more money to the motor instead..

Thanks!

Looks great, black wheels on a gray car always looks good. I would tint the windows as well.

Very nice! Now the big question...how much for a set? 20x9f/20x10r

Standard finish?
Then Vapor, color of my car, where these are red?

Thanks!

Mike,

I have some wheels I can give you a great deal on and will be in your budget. They're also 3 piece. If you can provide me with an email I can send you some images of a Mustang we just did. It's not a shelby though, it's a GT but I'm sure it'll give you an idea of how it would look.

Go with a 9.5" or 10.0" front wheel and a 11.0" rear. You'll need an adjustable rear panhard bar to center the rear axle for fitment. The GT500 can use as much rear tire as possible with all that power.

Will they ever put a proper independent rear suspension in these cars, if they did, I would be in the market for one!

I have a adjustable panhard bar on now...so, that is no issue. 9.5 or 10 inch wide upfront?? Are you sure that is not to wide? No rubbing while turning? 11 inch I know has been done but, I have a lowered car..isn't that an issue or just a matter of wheel offset? How wide could I go tire size with 11 inch wheel. I like the idea I just don't want to rub with suspension travel on a lowered car. Let me know your thoughts...Centerlock
