I don't have much choice in sizes besides i don't want to pay $1300/wheel for an HRE set either...GT3 18x8.5 weighs 23 lbs and 18x9.5 weighs 24 lbs not too light but not too heavy either....Fikse/Iforged ( oops )/HRE they all weigh pretty much the same..all 3 piece wheels are going to be heavy (lips & rivets )....

There's no such thing as played out if YOU like them. They look great on those cars.

back in 02 i wanted these for my s2000 and now i look at them. I totally hate these rims with passion. Don't know why just makes my blood boil. supposedly Speed Star Racing wheels are soft as people have mentioned, but overall they are good quality and finish. looks like you are considering for the m3, i am assuming e36 m3. For e36 M3 sedan I really like BBS CHs, & RCs. Just my 2cents.

I have them on my Turbo. I love the way they look but... even though they are a 3-piece rim, Tirerack who owns them does not sell individual parts. In other words, even though the beauty of owning a 3-piece wheel is the ability to replace say a bent lip, you can't get the part. I just pulled a rookie move last week and hit a curb while driving a tad over the speed limit. I had to spend $700 to replace the rim. Besides that, I really like them. The satin finished hub looks great on a black car.

Potholes and women driving you in your car while your drunk too close to curbs will be your worst enemies.

Try Forgiato Wheels or Vellano (hot hot for an MTrey)
they make stronger wheels even Stronger than HRE and iForged.
