Where can I buy 5mm spacers...are they worth it? do I need new bolts?

Is it different from 7 mm....?

I am running HRE P40 Mono and want it to come out a bit on the front wheel, its too tucked in...any suggestions on how much of a spacer etc...

Thanks

I don't think that's exactly accurate. Moving the wheels further outboard will increase the scrub radius (make it more positive). I believe that can make the car easier to steer at low (parking lot) speeds. It can make the steering more sensitive to braking inputs and put some additional strain on hubs, half-shafts, and steering gear. Small increases to track width (10-20mm total) not so much, but I think when you start talking over 20mm you can alter the interplay between handling, steering, and braking, not necessarily for the better. You might research more before aggressively increasing the car's track.

Explaination.....I would say.....save cost, short cut, afterthought, ran out of time, nobody's perfect......

Anyway...I assume you mean something like ther past Carrera Sport Wheel.

Porsche AG marketed the wheel in this fashion rather than invest time or money in requiring the supplier produce a lower offset wheel for C4 and Targas.
No longer the case....ie C SIIs.

Probably to save part numbers during vehicle production. Same spindles, joints, etc....
