RS350 on my CaymanS...courtesy of RennSport-One and EVO-MS.

Well kids....I re-installed my ECU last night after sending it out to the pro's at RennSport-One down in Miami. They graciously loaded it with the EVO-MS RS350 software with a little extra added "funk" in the programing. All I can say is *WOW*!!!!
Here is a little background:

The vehicle is a 2007 Cayman S. Mods are;
AWE-Tuning exhaust
EVO-MS Intake system
EVO-MS custom software
Race intake plenum
GT3 Throttle body

As well as suspension and body modifications.

The vehicle was previously loaded with Softronic plenum/GT3 throttle body software.
The new EVO-MS software has transformed the car. I never thought that just a simple software switch would make such a HUGE difference!!! This thing is a strait-up beast!! The power comes on with a herculean force that is sure to please even the most demanding enthusiast. From the moment the throttle is mashed the car accelerates with fury....something my Softronic software was lacking. At high RPM's the power is sheer joy....unrelenting all the way up until you bounce off the rev-limiter.
I couldn't be more happy with the stellar service I received from both RennSport-One and EVO-MS. With the attention to customer detail from RennSport-One and the unmatched tuning abilities of EVO-MS.....you have a match made in Porsche tuning heaven! Two thumbs up...way up!

The wing, along with all the other Techart body parts on my car are all genuine Techart parts....sourced through RennSport-One.

$15K?? $5K for the front, $5K for the wing, and $1200 for the sides...thats $11,200. How do you figure you can save $15K??

Evoms Software

Tigh TT

You are the first Cayman S owner I have seen report on switching from one software to another and from reading your post it looks like you got the good stuff now. I first found out about the EVOMSit software when I went to RSS to check out the RS370 and that package on a Cayman S is insane.

Without a doubt! I plan to upgrade to the RS370 ASAP.

Hey, Tigh TT

I am installing some of the RS370 hardware parts my self right now and I have set an appointment for next week at RSS for the EVOMSit flash. Tigh TT you better hurry up or Slowcart will be upgraded to a RS370 before you.

I am really excited about the killer performance on the RS370 package and there is no substitute for the additional confidence in knowing that the RS370 comes from the combination of experience, knowlege and product development delivered by Sharkwerks,RSS Stuttgart, Evolution Motorsports and IPD.

Let us know how it turns out. I rode in the EVO 370 car last weekend at RSS, and it was flat out impressive how hard this car pulls.

Keep us posted.

EVOMSit

dubaudi,

Per your very reasonable request I am directly back on topic. I had the EVOMSit software installed on my Cayman S today at RSS in Costa Mesa and this now brings my Cayman S up to the level of the RS350 package. The bolt on mods provided an outstanding level of added performance but with the EVOMSit software added to the package my Cayman S now launches like a rocket. I have read many posts where Cayman S owners have installed other types of software and their comments were " it's smoother" and "the tires chirrped". Well I can tell you with EVOMSit you can have FASTER and I mean WAY FASTER and forget about chirpping the tires this package will burn your tires to the nub.

Interesting thread. Can these mods be applied to a 3.2 Boxster , or does the engine have to be variocam plus ? This modification route seems to be far more cost effective than an engine transplant. Does the ECU reflash need to take place at the supplier , or can it be on an exchange basis ? Any info appreciated. Thanks
