Finally - A Complete Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake RELEASED

Agency Power Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake Porsche 997 Turbo 07-09

Agency Power has engineered the most complete cold air intake kit for the 2007 and up Porsche 997 Turbo and GT2. This cold air intake features components to help your car gain horsepower, improve throttle response, reduce turbo lag, and give your engine a more aggressive sound. With over 6 months of R&D and dyno testing, as well as 3000 miles of daily driving, this intake has been proven to gain almost 20 wheel horsepower and increase air flow while reducing intake temperatures. The natural 2 snorkel design of the 997 turbo engine helps bring in a larger volume of air flow to the intake box then the previous 996 Turbo. The limiting factor of the stock air box is the air filter and the volume of air the intake system can get in. With turbocharged cars, it is important to get alot of air in while getting alot of air out. By improving the air intake system, this is one step closer to achieving a more enjoyable performance vehicle.

The intake utilizes the stock MAF tubes which come apart easily from the factory intake box. They are connected to two aluminum intake pipes with K&N cone air filters. Each pipe is powder coated textured black for a clean OEM finish. All pipes are TIG welded and made from our original JIG to ensure precise fitment. The cone air filters provide plenty of flow for the turbos while the aluminum intake pipes keep the air flow smooth and laminar for proper MAF functioning. The left intake pipe requires a special fitting which we have CNC machined out of 6061 aircraft grade aluminum to fit on the return air hose. Each intake pipe is connected to the stock MAF tube via a 4ply Agency Power logo silicone coupler in black. Keeping the air flow circulating and cool, the intake is held in place by an aluminum heat shield that uses aluminum stands that drop into the rubber grommets on the frame for a secure fit. The heat shield is water jetted and then finished in textured black for an OEM look. The final touch of the air intake is the carbon fiber air box cover which securely connects to the aluminum intake shield. The air box helps keep air flow moving through the K&N cone filters with its increased volume over the stock unit. The carbon air box is flared out on either side to go with the contour of the incoming intake pipes. The back of the air box curves outward for a sleek look to fill in the area between the y-pipe and where the stock intake box would be. The top features a different pattern then the OEM box in the middle with an aluminum Agency Power badge. The carbon box fits seamless with the factory dual snorkels of the stock deck lid or GT2 wing. To finish off the look, each carbon part is completed with a semi gloss finish that dresses up the engine bay nicely.

The use of this intake does not require an ECU flash, however the addition of a flash will only improve the performance of the intake. The intake kit is a complete replacement unit for the stock air box as pictured. This intake is guaranteed to not cause any check engine lights. For more information in regards to the intake system, please contact one of our performance specialists.

Any special tools or special tips to make the install go smoothly? I don't want to plan an hour and end up all day. Kit looks phenomenal!! I want to get it installed before I have any ECU tuning done.

looks pretty sweet! Any worries about water during a rainy day dumping onto the intakes? I know it takes a lot to hydrolock a motor, but you'd think the intake box would act as a nice bucket for all that scooped-in rain. I've always wondered about this for my 996tt as well.

Beautiful product though. I'd get one in a heartbeat if I had a 997tt
