Both the car and the rolling road set up looks awsome .

What sort of revs do you find best to launch these cars from , to get the balance between wheel spin and bogging down ?

 

Is it a 996TT or a GT2? Title says one thing, car says another

 

Looks like a fake GT2 since it's on an allwheel dyno....

Does anyone else here think it's like waring a Folex or a Movodo on your wrist?

It's got a rear wiper and a sunroof. Mabe the tag should read "A Poser." Fake badges are lame.

maybe it's a factory GT2 decklid on the car and the badge was never changed. In any case the car is a beauty and the rims look great.

 

I wanted a GT2, but my girlfriend who also loves cars was born with a slight handicap and doesn't have the range of motion in her right arm to shift a six speed, so I had to buy a tip. Since she decided her handicap wasn't going to stop her from driving, I decided it wasn't going to stop me from having a GT2, building a car with the looks and better performance than the real thing. I like curvy roads too, so I decided to keep the all wheel drive. Hope this answers your questions?

We were launching at 2k for it's first run and the rear started to break loose at 3k. With the tiptronic, I would think 2500 is ideal for launching. Different road's will simulate different lauching conditions.

996TT, Both are nice cars, this one is faster than an GT2.
