vinyl wrap (satin or matte black) quote & pics

so i called up a reputable company that deals with vinyl wraps and they gave me a quote for about 4500$ to do a full wrap on my gts. so my question is... is it worth it?

here are some pics of matte black (no shine to the vinyl)

and here are some pics of the satin (u get a little shine on the vinyl)

what do you guys think, worth it for 4500$??

I think it looks great, but 4500 bucks is a lot of money for bling IMO.

well the quote was 2100 for the vinyl material, 1790 for the seemless install, 75 for the setup ??(dont know what that is), and 375 for the travel (company based out of town). anybody know of a reputable shop in houston, tx that has dealt with installing vinyl wraps on high end vehicles?? trying to stay away from signage companies...

Looks horrible and so completely played out. Was cool 5 years ago when it was new, but its not new anymore and really doesn't suit the KN. All in my opinion...

Ditto - would go for a custom paint job before I dropped that on some vinyl.

even if the custom paintjob was north of 8-12k ???

Vinyl wrap is a great alternative to a really expensive custom paint job

Well custom in a sense that you need to get someone to shoot your entire C in flat black and then clear it with a semi. In this economy I am sure you can get it done for $4K beans.

Why would you want your car to look like that?
It looks like they were painted with a dozen cans of primer from Walmart!

Sorry, just my opinion.

1. Get Satin
2. Call up 214-264-8606 and ask for Tamara. Tell her Ev sent you. You should get a better quote than $4100

Satin. Looks like a custom paint job. Matte just looks like plain old primer.

yea im leaning towards satin (i just hope i can get a cheaper quote then i previously got). i know alot of people are thinking, why is he not getting a custom paintjob instead. well my reasoning is that its cheaper, saves the paint from rock chips, and i can always go back to the factory color.
