Found an Ipod interface for cdr210
HI Guys,
The search is over for me. I hope. If anybody else is interested to find an interface for CDR210 I found this website called www.solisto.de. They are claiming they have the gadget to get an ipod to work w/ the cdr210 so I ordered 1 unit for myself. Its suppose to arrive in 2 weeks. Stand by for my post about it.

Dave,

I went with a Pioneer DEH-3200UB head unit. It's relatively cheap ($169, I believe) and with a harness, you can easily go back to the OEM unit if you ever were to sell the car. Thus far, I've been very happy and the green illumination matches the fog light and lower switches.

This is what I put in both of my 993's, but you can't use the CDC with it.

You also got to control the iPod from the iPod not the HU.

i used that in my 996 with the cdr220 and it was great but it wouldnt charge the ipod

You got to hook it up to power, then it will charge. Both of mine charge with no problem.

i know, i did, it doesnt work for all ipods and iphones though, some versions can only play, some will play and charge
