Updating my K&N intake a bit.

The winter months have me going crazy with the car sitting. Got some 50 degree weather today,so I decided to Plastidip my intake to dress it up a bit. I love how it came out and it will peel off if i ever want to take it off. Had an extra Porsche caliper sticker left over and put it on there. Can of Red Plastidip was about $7 at Home Depot.

Looks nice but will it discolor from engine bay heat?

I don't think so. People have been using it on brake calipers,so I'm sure it will hold up fine.

Looks very nice indeed.
As to the K&N intake, do u feel any difference in power or is it just
sound n' looks ? I am thinking about upgrading my C2 intake but not sure if its money well spent ?!?

I am not sure on the power increase, but I have the K&N on my car and I like the way it sounds a lot better than some stock Porsches I have heard. The best was I can describe it is that it makes the pitch of revs a lot deeper/lower in tone and pitch. Sounds more like a growl to me with the K&N.

OP...nice job and looks great!

Exactly what swaff said. I couldn't notice any power performance, but it did give a nice new sound to the motor.

I have the K&N filter that replaces the stockair filter, no complaints...the one u have doesn't look like much surface area of filtering element for that size engine..

I have this set-up as well and it gives a nice sound, also when accelerating you can hear the engine sucking in the air.

I just bought the K&N drop in filter but donīt feel or hear any difference. Im guessing its cause i already installed x-pipes and updated mufflers . . .
