Will I ever get me D2Forged Wheels?

I ordered these November for a February completion. Well it's now August and still no product. They keep telling my wheel distributor "another week" or "will update tomorrow"

Anyone else with D2 experience on when I should, if ever, expect them?

Do a "D2" search here, and other boards. Your situation seems not to be unique.

Probably time to put your big boy pants on.

Good luck.

I didn't find many complaints about them, but maybe I'm not searching the site correctly. What I did find were people who said they are stand up guys. I hope this is the case for me, as all I want are my new wheels.

The first time I saw a thread like this I thought it would be an aberration. Now another one. My personal experience was mostly good. There was an issue that was quickly resolved. They didn't cause it but made a phone to the warehouse immediately to correct it.
2 stories about serious delays.....that's not good. Not at all. Come on Derrick, don't forget the values that made you come up.

Ive seen many similar stories about D2. Sorry for the headache. I would have your CC company get your money back and then call ADV. GL.

Sucks to hear. Not to many punctual wheel companies left out there. Good luck.

Yeah I did pay a hefty sum in advance. My experience has been with custom wheel companies that they require that to make them to my specs. I have learned my lesson on this one. I hope he does come thru as I know the wheels will look gorgeous on my car.

Didn't D2 go out of business and come back as another company?

I feel you pain. I wait a whole 2 weeks once. Ouch! Your in pain!

I'm looking at new rims and I have to say, after reading this post, I wont be looking at the D2 brand. I do like their styles though but, not worth that kind of wait.

I waited for months to get my wheels. I paid extra to have custom center caps because they said they could do it. They kept giving me excuse after excuse about where they were and even Derrick called. To put it in perspective, I ordered a mustang convertible for the wife 2 months after I ordered wheels and they built a new Mustang in a fraction of the time, yes got Mustang before wheels. Then when I finally got them, didn't get custom caps, got cheap plastic ones and the diameter was too big to fit their caps, so I had to search for new ones on my own. Vivid, which I bought through, finally got me some even more months later, but they didn't fit and didn't have the same finish as the wheels. So I have a sweet set of wheels without nice looking center caps and I paid big money. Not a happy camper. Stay way future buyers.
