Set the hands at 12 oclock. It will have right time twice a day, which is better than the dash clock

After spending 3 days driving a 991 (PDE event in Canada) I really wanted to have the time on the chrono of my 997.2. So I asked the half a dozen of Porsche experts that were with me: they said it would require extensive/expensive electronic component changes then new software to ensure compatibility etc... So indeed let's forget it for now (until a geek finds a software back door). I like better my rough 997.2 4S versus the larger and smoother 991 4S (for other models the comparison could be different).

The chrono clock has got to be the most usless equipment in all Porsche cars.

I don't disagree on a 997. At least they improved it on the 991 since it's also a clock. I wish for the future they put an LCD screen then each driver can customize what data to display.
