Anyone dyno tested the IPD plenum on a CTT

Just wondering if anyone had dyno'd there CTT and compared HP/TQ#S from this mod? The factory plastic "T" looks as if it is already shaped similar to this plenum and wondering if there is actually anything to be gained by changing it out. Thanks, Troy.

Trying to find the most cost effective mods...

This has been a long debate on 6speed since the unveiling of the IPD. I am willing to give it a try if i can work out a deal with my local dyno shop. I have a bone stock CTT, but i am about ready to buy DV's, cat bypass, evoms intake. I wanted to test the IPD gaines first.

Thanks for bringing this topic up.

I have one, but no dyno testing, just dragstrip testing and I didn't see any appreciable gain. But that said the weather could have nullified any results. It does help with the stock tune in tip-in throttle response and I may have gained about 0.2mpg but that's about all I can tell. I was lucky enough to buy one used, but I think there are other things I'd do first before getting one if I were you. Eventually I'll weld a bung on it for a water/meth injector port since my warranty is out now.

I would like to know this as well... Do they offer a money back guarantee? If they do I have a dyno local to me and would be willing to put this to the test...

Their website say "money back guarantee" for 30 days on the part only not labor.

Looks as if they do offer a money back guarantee, one month, no labor but it isn't hard to change anyways. If you decide to try it please keep us posted on the gains you encounter, thanks, Troy.

Hey Mark,

I went back to the shop about two weeks ago for a quick electronic install. Took a while to get the car in the back but it works great. I will let you know.

Do you know if they have a Dyno?
