Hi Cigar100,
It doesn't effect handling at all, and this was the mission behind creating the system. However the system will lower itself around 30-35MPH. I've driven numerous cars very aggressively before and after the Cargraphic Airlift install and felt no difference, but don't take my word for it – here is Walter Röhrl's take on the system:

Can you clarify please, when I did my research on the this lift, I was told the time to raise the car to its max, will take a total of 20 seconds but the techart will take about 6 seconds. Thanks for clarifying.

The white TT in this SharkWerks video is mine:

The Cargraphics lift takes about 13-14 seconds to fully lift the car. The TechArt lift is about twice as fast (SharkWerks Video).

The systems are completely different. The Cargraphics Airlift uses air from your stock compressor, the added weight is sprung weight, and the controls are via FOB. You could probably upgrade the stock compressor to make the Cargraphic system faster.

The TechArt Noselift is hydraulic, the added weight is mostly unsprung, and the controls are hard wired to the dome (you lose one HomeLink control).

Overall I am happy with my Cargraphic lift. The TechArt lift is excellent also. You could purchase a several year supply of front lips for the cost of either lift system though so it really depends on your driving conditions. If you rarely scrape, then I think I would just skip the lift and purchase some spare front lips. If you live somewhere where you scrape every 2nd or third time you drive the car, then the lift system is for you. The TechArt system is faster, but the Cargraphic system is fine as long as you plan ahead a little. The Cargphic lift lowers (and will not raise) above 25 MPH and I think the Techart does the same thing.

Both are good systems with each offering something a little different. Consider calling SharkWerks as I know they have installed both kits several times.

RSS / Stuttgart Performance has installed many Cargraphic Airlift Kits, KW HLS Lift Kits & Techart Lift Kits - they are all great systems with various features and benefits with different price points. Like Sparkhill mentioned, the Techart and KW offering work off hydraulic and the Cargraphic Airlift works off air. Cargraphic also offers an optional button for the direct wiring into the factory homelink location in the dome as well.

So after I posted, I went to a bank branch in a strip mall. As I was leaving there was substantial traffic so I could not take a good angle to get out of the parking lot. The driveway was steep, the gutter was deep and the road crowned quickly. Basically, I would have torn off my lip getting out with the lift so it was very worthwhile today.

Thanks to RSSbryan for the tip on the HomeLink control which is now an option.

I have to agree those set ups are so useful for just driving the car and not having to worry or think about your next exit/entrance as much
