2011 Dodge Challenger SQ Audio Ground Zero/ Mosconi
This Build is on my 2011 Dodge Challenger RT.
When people see the exterior of the car, they think immediately the interior matches the upgrades made to the exterior. I still have the oem base sound system.
My goal in this Build is to have great SQ with good level of output as well. keep a good portion of useable space in the trunk. The build will display materials and style I would use in builds I do. Problem Ive had for a while has been when I'm ready to get this build started, what equipment would I want to use.
Since I carry some of the best SQ product brands, how do I choose? since they all have great craftsmanship, quality parts, performance and support. First I looked at what would work well in my type of car, Speaker locations and size. After that the performance for the budget I wanted to invest in. I feel most of the budget should go to the front stage, DSP, Amp and then sub in that order. The air ride system will be cleaned up and organized in a different fashion in the trunk area. It will be a long build since im working on other builds at the moment. My goal is to have this complete by end of winter. Here are some of the components I will be using.
Source - Sony MEX-GS610BT and Tablet
Front stage- Ground Zero Plutonium limited edition 3 way
subs - Ground Zero Hydrogen 30x 12" subs or illusion Audio c12xl
Amps - Ground Zero Uranium GZUA 250.2SQ and GZUA 150.4SQ
DSP - Mosconi 6to8 v8 with mini controller
Sound Deadening - Ground zero and STP deadening and ccf
The entire air ride system mounted in the spare tire area.

The components I will be using on the front stage are the ground zero plutonium 3 way limited edition components. Hand made and assembled in Germany. This set is 1 out of 50 limits set made in the world. Ive done quite a few high end audio builds and by far these are the best speakers Ive heard. They won the best sounding speakers in Europe as well. Decision on the front stage was easy to make. here is some pictures of the components. They come in a nice sturdy suitcase with foam protection and

Finally got some time after doing so many builds this winter, trying to have my car done by late spring. So on Sunday I started from the front and working my way back. First up is the A-pillars needed to be fabricated to house the new GZ Plutonium 3.5" mid range and 1.1" tweeter.

Next I wrapped each pillar with materiel and brushed fiberglass resin on the pillars. I added 1.5oz chop mat, 2 layers to add strength to the pillars. After curing I sanded smooth starting with 36 grit then 80 grit. Then added a few layers of premium body filler to fill in low spots.

Very professional install. Looks great. I'd like to see the Porsche setup you have going in the background.
