Daily driver situation....

I know I know....

Another "daily driver" thread. But I've only owned a couple mustangs and a lexus so I figured my help would be best found online at this cool forum!

I'm debating a c5 corvette and a porsche boxster. I think the boxster looks better but I'm skeptical about daily driving a convertible. Also the Corvette is a hard top, cheaper to fix, better highway mpg, and faster. I'm in a tough debate, I know I'd love both cars, but being a daily driver I feel I should get the one that wouldn't be as "annoying" to daily drive.

I live in northern missouri, we only get 2 or 3 snows a winter, the car would be garaged and taken to St. Louis once or twice a month.

So which seems to be the better option? Or does anyone else have a better alternative? Thought of clk500's but I'm not too fond of their mpg in comparison.

As you can tell, I've pondered this too much....

I just sold my C5 Z06 last year which I enjoyed a lot.
I never did DD the C5, but I would do that over a Boxster.

C5 are cheaper to repair!

Budget? Of the two options, I'd daily the 'vette. Get a set of snow tires for the winter.
