6SpeedOnline is coming to you live from the floor of SEMA 2018, always on the lookout for the most fantastic exotics and luxury performance machines in between selfies in front of the Luxor pyramid.

We definitely appreciate wolves in sheep’s clothing, especially those you wouldn’t think of as sheep in the first place. Thus, we bring you the Sheepey Race Ferrari 458.

According to Speedhunters, what started as a joke between Sheepey Race owner Alex Soto and CSF Racing founder Ravi Dolwani is now a spectacular SEMA debut for Soto and his Sheepey Race crew.

At first glance, one would think this 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider didn’t already have a lot going for it. However, it is wearing a $40,000 body kit from German body kit maker Prior Design, bringing a fresh look to the five-year-old car.

But it’s out back where the real magic takes place. The 458’s 4.5-liter V8 received a huge upgrade in power with the help of two Precision Turbo turbochargers on either side of the engine. A tuned stock ECU helps the setup deliver 700 horsepower to the back at five pounds of boost, as do the pair of CSF air-to-water intercoolers (joined together as a single unit), and a set of custom CSF heat exchangers.

Not only is this Sheepey Race’s first SEMA build, but the build itself only took a week to complete. As if the 458 wasn’t impressive enough on its own.
