Audi Teases the New R8 Even More
Audi seems to not be able to keep any secrets. It’s as if they are a small child that is being bribed with cookies or trips to Disney World or something. Every time I seem to look online, there’s another teaser, or another story about the new Audi R8.
This time however, we’ve got more information than ever before, and probably the same amount of information that we will get at the Geneva Motor Show. Besides you know, seeing it without the camo.
Audi is so jazzed about the new R8, that it gave a select few journalists the opportunity to sit in the passenger seat with a pro race driver has they set hot laps around a track. The noise and speed this car develops is just glorious and makes me want this car even more than I already did.
Using the new V10 co-developed by Lamborghini and Audi, the new engine pumps out 610 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque, so roughly the same as the new Huracan.
Geneva is only a few weeks away and we can’t wait to finally see it in the flesh.
