Being behind the wheel of a car like the Alfa Romeo 4C or the Nissan GT-R can make you feel as if you’re in an action movie. You look cool and you drive fast to a soundtrack of charging horses.

This is actually an Audi R8. No really, under its burnt orange skin, there lies a chassis and engine from a first generation Audi R8.

If you were able to have nearly all of Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California all to yourself, what would you do? Would you just race the big oval in a stock car? Have nothing but fun on the kart track? Rip around with an exotic car? How about all of it?

The LA Auto Show starts late next week and thanks in part to Audi, it’s going to start with a bang.
