Being able to write about cars is one of those dream jobs that you always want, but never think will actually come true. Like being a rockstar, marrying a supermodel, or slapping everyone at the Republican National Convention. It’s just not going to happen.

Then about two years ago, I somehow found myself writing about cars. Not really for any money, but just so that I didn’t flip out and go insane in my cubicle.

Fast forward to today, and I’m getting ready to move out to the West Coast, and pick up a McLaren 650S to test drive for a few days! It’s amazing how life can just completely switch directions.

Speaking of moving in the right direction, on my last trip out to L.A., I had the opportunity to test drive a $250,000 Bentley Flying Spur. It has a twin turbocharged V8 that makes 500+ horsepower, AWD to keep you safe, and the cushiest interior you can possibly imagine.

Although the stereo kinda sucks, me and our esteemed editor, Mr. Manuel Carrillo, decided what we really needed to do was test it out on some canyon roads.

So here is how you thrash a Bentley in L.A.’s canyons. Please keep in mind, this is not how you’re supposed to drive a Bentley Flying Spur, but how you really should. And be warned, the video below may force you to dream of a different line of work.
