Fake Lamborghini Diablo With Jeep Underpinnings

Few things are going to turn heads on the trails like a bright green, lifted Lamborghini Diablo, even if it isn’t actually a real one.

The automotive world has given us some pretty amazing machines over the course of its existence, as well as some that, well, are more of the eyebrow-raising variety. Typically, it’s easy to understand such creations, but every now and then, we come across something that defies convention to the point where we’re left speechless. This Lamborghini Diablo kit car of sorts – riding on Jeep Liberty underpinnings is such a build, and now, it has resurfaced via the YouTube channel CBoysTV.

If this wild, high-riding, four-wheeling Lamborghini Diablo looks familiar, that’s because it was previously owned by mega-popular YouTuber Stradman, but he recently decided to part ways with it. As one might imagine, it isn’t exactly a showpiece – upon closer inspection, it’s quite rough, in fact – but it’s a pretty solid 20-footer, and this simple fact also means that one would be more willing to take it out on the trails, too.

Of course, the Jeep Liberty wasn’t exactly known for its off-road prowess, but the now-discontinued model is at least pretty good in that setting. That’s a good thing in this case, because this particular build is pretty much all Liberty underneath that bright green Lamborghini Diablo skin – even the interior is 100 percent Jeep, which is a strange sight when peeking inside the cabin.

It may be severely lacking in the power department and squeak and rattle constantly when it’s being driven even on smooth surfaces, but this high-riding, ahem, sports car is also a heck of a lot of fun. It isn’t exactly what one might call a competent high-speed Baja-style desert blaster due to its severely underpowered engine and lack of suspension travel, but it does actually make a pretty decent rock crawler and general off-roader, it seems.

That last bit actually comes as a bit of a surprise to our hosts, who admit that the fake Lambo “blew their expectations out of the water,” and they even went so far as to call it an “amazing machine.” If nothing else, they’ve got one heck of a fun toy now, and also a toy that’s guaranteed to turn heads quicker than just about anything else in existence, too, and isn’t that what this hobby is all about?
