Get Your Kicks with Rennsport Reunion Sneakers From Porsche

Porsche lovers can celebrate Porsche’s 75th anniversary and the Rennsport Reunion with limited edition custom footwear from Porsche.

Fancy footwork is part of the Porsche lifestyle. Gotta have positive engagement with all three of those pedals nestled in the footwell. And, of course, there’s a need to show your Porsche enthusiasm. And now Porsche has a way to tie in both of those items. The shoes are dubbed Porsche Rennsport Reunion 7 – Mirage Sport Tech.

Teaming up with Puma, Porsche Design has created a shoe that’s worthy of any enthusiast’s step counter. This trainer is designed with Rennsport Reunion color accents throughout, and is available in white background or black background. While it’s not a motorsport racing shoe, it is meant to accompany you on your day to day drives, jogs and runs. Checkered flag motifs are found sprinkled throughout the shoe, and given the collector market for shoes, this $150.00 shoe actually looks like great value, too.

If you’re eager to get your hands on it (to get your feet in it) then you’ll have to wait till September. Order now, and it’ll ship on September 15th. Expedited shipping will get them to you in time for Rennsport Reunion, too. And of course Porsche Design makes far more than just this shoe. They have everything P-car to complete an entire wardrobe.

What exactly is Rennsport Reunion, you may ask, and why has Porsche made a commemorative shoe for the event? Heritage. Porsche’s 75th anniversary only happens once, and it’s a big one. Plus the Rennsport Reunion isn’t exactly an annual occurrence. Since the first event in 2001, the event has only been held 6 times. And on September 28th, Reunion 7 will commence.

It is hosted at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey California, and is by far the largest gathering of pedigree-laden Porsche cars from around the world. Not only is it for the cars, but the event also includes a who’s-who of Porsche people. From legendary Porsche racing drivers to engineers and designers who have contributed to the success of the marque. And enthusiasts like us can be in attendance to show our support for the most iconic sports car manufacturer ever. Especially if we’re in the right footwear.
