Checkered flag motifs are found sprinkled throughout the shoe, and given the collector market for shoes, this $150.00 shoe actually looks like great value, too.

What exactly is Rennsport Reunion, you may ask, and why has Porsche made a commemorative shoe for the event? Heritage. Porsche’s 75th anniversary only happens once, and it’s a big one. Plus the Rennsport Reunion isn’t exactly an annual occurrence. Since the first event in 2001, the event has only been held 6 times. And on September 28th, Reunion 7 will commence.
It is hosted at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey California, and is by far the largest gathering of pedigree-laden Porsche cars from around the world. Not only is it for the cars, but the event also includes a who’s-who of Porsche people. From legendary Porsche racing drivers to engineers and designers who have contributed to the success of the marque.
