Lamborghini Centenario Roadster Flexes Its Muscles at Goodwood
With its top off, this Lamborghini Centenario Roadster welcomes the sun and wind through a leisurely stroll through the English countryside.
The Lamborghini Aventador is a pretty special machine already. The current Aventador LP740-4 S upgraded the power of its 6.5-liter V12 from the previous Aventador to 730 horses and 509 lb-ft of torque, while also adding four-wheel steering and permanent four-wheel drive to keep it all together.
The ultra-rare Lamborghini Centenario takes all of that to the next level. All 20 coupes and 20 roadsters boast an output of 759 horses and 509 lb-ft of torque from its tuned 6.5-liter V12, can launch from zero to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds, and tops out at 217 mph. And today, thanks to YouTube channel NM2255 Car HD Videos, we get to see and hear a Centenario Roadster in its natural habitat.
The Centenario Roadster rolls up, taking its place at the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex, England for the 2018 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Its owner cool as ice in his dark shades and black jacket with neon green trim. With the top off, it’s only all that much easier to see the tan leather seats nestled against their carbon fiber frames, the only spot of color in this all-silver bull.
It wouldn’t be long before the Centenario Roadster would flex its muscles along the hay bale-lined path of the Goodwood Hill Climb, though. With an array of lucky passengers sitting shotgun, the Lamborghini’s owner ferries one and all up the hill amid the V12 howl. Multiple shots catch the Centenario Roadster pulling off the line with a minor burnout out the door, popping and spurting through the bends.

Whether the sun was out, or the light was diffused through gray English skies, the air remained filled with the Centenario Roadster’s fire-spitting 6.5-liter V12 throughout the day. The only thing better than watching a video of this special Lamborghini would be to see this rarity in person, like those lucky souls attending Goodwood.
