A Porsche 911 Spares a Westfield Megabusa at Nürburgring
So, you are cruising along in your Westfield Megabusa, a Lotus-esque kit car with a Suzuki Hayabusa engine, on the notorious Nürburgring race track in Germany.
You have your Boo at your side and you are probably going as fast as your little 1300cc engine will let you, when all of a sudden a Porsche 911 appears out of nowhere!
What do you do? Brake? Speed up? Drive towards the wreck? If you’ve ever been in a similar situation, it all comes down to split second reactions, nerves of steel and the laws of physics.
The couple here manage to avoid a nasty collision with the poor driver of the 911, who loses control of his or her vehicle in this video. Most likely that person survived because of all the engineering that went into the Porsche.
However, the driver of the Megabusa seems to think that the Porsche tried to kill them in a rant on YouTube. A number of commentators there foolishly believe that they should have stopped on the track to help the crashed driver. Now THAT would be crazy, but they could at least have the decency to call 911.
So who’s at fault here? What would you do in this situation? Sound off in the forum.>>
