Watch the new Smithsonian Channel Show: Supercar Superbuild

Supercars and hypercars are on a league of their own when it comes to performance, sex appeal, and of course—price. Yet, one of the aspects commonly overlooked by most people is the factory where these cars come from.
The Smithsonian Channel has set out to shed some light on supercar factories from around the world, so you and I can see what the employees, the tools, the buildings, and overall what these super-facilities look like and how they operate. As you can imagine, a different thought process goes into building a Toyota Corolla, than a $2 million Pagani Huayra, right?
The Smithsonian Channel has gained access to four facilities across the world, such as Pagani, Ford, Dodge Viper, and Porsche. The first episode will revolve around Pagani and their impact on design and performance to the industry.
The TV schedule is as follows, and you can also register to watch them on their website after the live airing:
- Pagani: Sunday October 30th at 9 pm ET/PT
- Ford: Sunday November 6th at 9 pm ET/PT
- Dodge: Sunday November 13th at 9 pm ET/PT
- Porsche: Sunday November 20th at 9 pm ET/PT
You can head to the Smithsonian’s website to check out previews and see what this new series is all about. We will bring you more as the series begins!
