Porsche is bringing back a special series of its 911 Carrera and Boxster models last seen in 2012. The only catch is the Black Edition cars are only available in – you guessed it – black.

Porsche is on a roll lately with their high-performance models. Even though it seems like they just released the GT3, we’ve already seen the Cayman GT4 and the 911 GT3 RS. But what if you’re a fan of pure, open-aired motoring? Well the Porsche Boxster Spyder was the car you wanted.

The Porsche Boxster has always lived in the shadow of the 911. Even if it is just as good of a car to drive as the 911, it’s often shunned as the car that announces to the world that you couldn’t afford a 911.

The new Porsche Boxster four-cylinder prototype hit the streets of Stuttgart, Germany recently and it looks exactly like the flat-six version. No surprise there.
