There is a remote possibility the Audi RS 6 Avant could be coming to U.S. showrooms. Whoa. This is like hearing news that a dead relative is planning to make an appearance at your annual family Christmas gathering.

The Audi RS 6’s absence in the United States was about as assured as soccer’s absence on American primetime television. But now, as Audi has told Fourtitude, “Don’t count it out.”

This makes me question everything. Is teleportation possible? Well, if I may digress, certain corners of the scientific community have learned that every object in the universe has a vibrational signature, and an object’s location in space is a facet of that signature, so simply changing that particular element of an object’s vibration can change its location instantly. Okay, so if teleportation is scientifically possible, then certainly it is possible to see the Audi RS 6 beautifying U.S. roadways.

There are a couple of contingencies that would determine whether the RS 6 gets a spot in Audi’s U.S. lineup. First, the RS 6’s arrival would depend on the RS 7’s success in the U.S. market. Second, Audi needs to hear from you. If you really want an RS 6 in the United States, contact Audi and let them know you would be willing to place a significant deposit on one. Remember, fanatics got the Audi TT RS to be sold here. It would appear the RS 6’s existence in the U.S. is in your hands.
