I, like many others before me, have finally did it!!! My first 911!!! I have waited many, many years for this but now I am waiting for the snow to go away, LOL!

Thank you. I am looking forward to really enjoying this. It is a 1987. Had it out today for a ride with my son. It ran great! Looking forward to getting the top down!

Get a cat bypass pipe. They are cheap and easy to swap out for test time. No CEL's either. Short shift kits are also cheap and easy to self install. The rest of the car needs of nothing else (other than a decent sound system). No need to fuss with suspension, wheels, tires etc.The factory did the 87-89 cars right.

Indeed. It's the first year of the G50 transmission. The engine was also very reliable.
