the mk IV autokraft it was compared against in R&T was sold on ebay about a year ago for $55k +/-

would have been a nice matching set for someone with $$$ to blow.

car looks well used and/or a cheapo armor all detail job.

Last time I saw this car, it was very well used, and it doesn't look much different than it did then. I wouldn't even drive the thing if I bought it, straight in a crate to Pfaffenhausen and probably $50K or so to get it back up to snuff...still a nice car with cool history.

Price is too high; however, having said that, someone will pay dearly for the car. It is clear the Ebay approach is not the way to sell this kind of car.

I would be willing to guess that if you paid $165K for the car and wanted to track it, they just might throw in a roll cage
