1988 930 turbo-new keys/alarm

Merry Christmas everyone, Just picked up and 88 930 Cabriolet
Can anyone tell me where to order a new set of keys and does the car have an Alarm ? There is a decal on the windows that says Porsche Alarm System ?
Also where can I get an original Drivers Manual ? Car does not have one, just the warranty booklet.

Thanks

Many key blanks available on eBay.
Most did have a central alarm system activated with a separate key in the door jam.

A good locksmith can make a key as long as you have the original and do not forget the wheel locks. Also the alarm is a key hole in the drivers side door jam. You open the door a few inches insert key and turn to arm it It is independent of the door lock. So you unlock the door open it a few inches and turn off the alarm

A good locksmith can take the tumbler out and make an impression and make a key. However, in my car I do not use that. I have an aftermarket alarm that works great with a proximity sensor. When I bought it 2 years ago it came with it. The problem with the factory alarm is that they can just tow the car away and no alarm.

You can go to the Hershey Porsche swap meet in April. There is the same locksmith there every year and he has all the original keys. usually there is a line in front of his booth for making keys.
