03-turbo911 you are very perceptive. The only difference is that when Harm Lagaay did this car, he had more time and told me he believed its interior turned out better than the Panamericana.

I've got the Jan/Feb 1995 issue of 911&Porsche World, which had a big feature on this car. Absolutely amazing, and I had the pleasure of lunch today with Robert-if there's someone at Porsche that he doesn't know, he's not worth knowing.

 

It is a Tiptronic with several interesting differences including:

1. It has a limited slip differential.

2. It has carbon fiber and titanium components so as to reduce its weight.

3. Its fluid pan is carbon fiber.

4. It is connected to a lightweight, high efficiency cooler by lightweight PTFE hose with aluminum quick disconnects.

5. It is specially built to withstand in excess of 400 Nm of torque.

6. In "Tip" mode it has no brain, i.e., the driver is in complete control.
