I drove the 991 Turbo S and here's my review
A littel update regarding the color.
Finally got an email today from the Exclusive department (seems that they have been too busy lately with other stuff??!).
The price for the oryx white pearl is (sit down before reading on)..... 7000 euro excluding taxes!
The interior as I have specified (two-tone black/cinnamon brown, with every plastic bit covered in leather or when not possible in brushed aluminium) has an additional pricetag of 14300 euro excluding taxes.
When I convert all this to the estimated swiss pricetag including taxes, all together, it will be around CHF 31400 ($34100)!!!! Just for the color and the interior. That's waaaaaay too much...
It would bring the car's pricetag up to around CHF 315k ($340k)
Conclusion... Although a fantastic car, I will definitely not get a Turbo S in Oryx white with that interior! And other color-/interior options, I don't like enough to justify the pricetag to myself. I
So... Probably back to a C4S, which looks much better anyways or maybe even no 991 at all.
I really have to rethink everything, because it is probably not going to be my daily driver after all. If I look at it from a rational POV, a 991 is just not the right Porsche to have. The Boxster S is an equally good if not better car if it is just a weekend/fun car. It's just not a 911.... :-/

If we cancel out the color (co$t) issue, the Turbo S is an absolutely amazing car that CANNOT be compared to a Boxster S (which can be just as fun, but so can a 1992 Miata).
When comparing a 991 Turbo S vs a C4S, I believe rational POV has already been thrown out the window.
Suzy - we seem to have a lot in common, but I cannot share this line of thought with you (which is why we both probably appreciate choices). But.... It will not be my daily driver.... and I don't want to spend so much money on a car that will be only drivin on weekends or occasionally on daytrips. For that money I can buy a lightly optioned C4S coupe and an Audi RS5 cabriolet. No Turbo can beat that combination!!! Or a fully loaded custom build Boxster S and an RS5 coupe...

I think that's been the case w/ all the turbos, though even more so w/ the squared off wider hips of the 991. Definitely a less agile, and more muscular appearance IMHO, c/w the narrow body w/o spoiler.
No I don't unfortunately. Haven't made any pictures at all that day... I was too excited to think about that haha
It certainly is. I actually never liked any 911 Turbo in terms of looks. The 991 Turbo looks OK though, but it will never win a beauty contest. For me the 991 C4(S) is very hard to beat by any other 911. The only Porsche that comes very close is the 981 Boxster, which is one of the best looking Porsches ever made IMHO... Unfortunately that's not a 911.

Fortunately I will be happy without custom paint or leather.
Bet you wished the turbo was yours! I'm struggling still with this decision to go tts or c4s. I keep telling myself ill be happy with the c4s, when deep inside I know what I really want.
