Used 991 Turbos
Used 991 Turbos
Im weighing buying a slightly used 1200 mile 14 Turbo VS a new 15.
Seems like the values are holding strong and the newer car is the better purchase.
Seems that 190+ Turbo S's are bringing in the 170's. Local dealer will give 5k off a new car.
Anyone else in a similar debacle?

I just went through these same questions as I decided I had to move up to a Turbo. I originally decided to order a new TT with a promise of 5.5% off, which I thought would be worth it to pick and choose exactly what I want as opposed to getting a slightly better deal on a barely used one (which will always be black or silver, honestly so you are in luck if those are your 2 favorite colors). Then, I made the mistake of going to see a new Mexico Blue TTS that was in stock.
That was all she wrote......
So bottom line if you want black or silver, a used one will come along at a great price. If you have several must-haves, order with a discount.

i was in the market a few months ago and noticed several used ones (mostly private sellers) were asking more or near what I could get a new one for w/ the current discounts... also ran into the same issue when buying the mrs a new prius so ended up just buying it new. a lot of PS tend to calculate what they paid for the car OTD and discount it off of that when in reality they should price there USED cars on what a current new one is going for... No matter who you buy it from in CA you still have to pay sales tax so confusing as hell why sellers are taking taxes into consideration when pricing cars..
Yes, I really want the new TTS at Plano Porsche, the white one. The other car I am considering is the slightly used silver one at Park Place, that is probably the best deal in my vicinity right now. The alternative is to make myself wait until next spring and buy a new 2015 then or a slightly used 2014. I really should wait, be patient, right? In the meantime I can always drive my wife's Cayenne Turbo S if I must drive a Porsche......

I had a M5 2013 as well, it was a great car. They are very well optioned kind like the TTS, with a few extras. It was a lease to I put it on swap a lease and got lucky. You should consider the same if your M5 is a lease. If I had sold it or traded it , I would take a big hit.

WRS they dropped the price at Park Place on the tts now down to 159 and are motivated. It already has a FVD exhaust, radar and clear wrap. Rear bumper has been repainted.

I know, it's killing me to hang on to the M5 because that is a good deal!
Could easily get that car for low 150's...call Jim Lannom up.
The new M5 is great and fast. The tech is a lot better than these P cars. I get them at Hertz while on business often. If you get a new TTS you will never EVER look back. Do it do it....

Bought the silver one for $157k from Kevan Chugtai and Mindy Collins. I had been working with Kevan last May. Looks like I am keeping the M5 for now.
