Drove a 14 TTS - WOW (coming from a C4S owner)
Wow is all I can say. Was lucky enough to get a good test ride. Not going to provide too many details in a public forum (
) but what a car. So much power. So livable everyday. Awesome brakes. Full leather......
I'm totally screwed. I can pull out of the C4S now or lease is up in June.

So jealous of current TT/TTS owners.
(PS previously had a 997 Turbo. Massive improvement)

Ahhhhh, I feel you. I "just went to look" at colors and planned to order in December/January and trade in my c2S. The test drive did me in and I made a deal and was driving home 2 hours later.
The car is a beast.

I'm hoping I can wait til lease end in May/June as winter is coming and have more pre-owned options. Not sure I can wait. Pull ahead only works with new car purchases.
Michael I just got a "regular TT" if you can find something that is a 14 leftover the math work out better to take advantage of the pull ahead and get a deal on something in inventory. There still is not all that much preowned TT or TTS inventory out there.
I will say there is something to be said for wringing that 3.8 out at 7400 rpm's. In the turbo its pure power. I came from a 3.4 C2 that I really enjoyed but the new TT/TTS is amazing. I love the full leather, 18 way seats and glass roof in this new one I picked up.

you know .. I you would of said .. I drove a TTS and hated it, I would of been shocked. I totally dig/love the TTS and WISH I could come up with some reason to get one. I have '13 C4S .. no issues whatsoever and I totally dig driving it .. with that said - I drive it about 5000 miles a year half of that is in mass pike traffic. It is when I'm sitting in that traffic I go .. man, not sure I need/use all the wow factor ... I know my logic is flawed .. but my C4S does make me smile. I used to own a Turbo and for when/where I realistically get to drive .. good enough

The C2S and C4s is more than enough car. I had the C2, which I always felt was a little underpowered and should have bought the S upfront. It was certainly entertaining to drive while winding it out at 7400 rpms and playing with the pdk all the time to make sure you kept the revs up.
I was going to wait around for the 991.2/992(whatever they will call it) but revised bumpers and a small HP bump on the S would have irked me had I just bought a 14/15, not the Turbo though. Once I was able to work what I felt was a good deal on the 14 Turbo in the combo I wanted I really don't give a rats *** about bumper revisions, change in door handles, new tail lights. The only thing I would really want is a new PCM as the current one feels like an Atari and possibly the Macan steering wheel. If I want more power I will flash it. For now I am going to drive the wheels off this car.

I know, totally irrational for a 17 mile commute from N. NJ to NYC. But, that's not that point..... as you know.
I made the mistake of test driving a TT when I took my C2S in for a service a few months ago. Anyway, fast forward to now and I've got a 2015 TT on order, hopefully will arrive this month or next. Also taking advantage of the lease pull ahead program. The power of the TT is simply intoxicating.
The 992 Turbo is coming out soon? I don't think so.
As for the rest of the comments in this thread, I completely agree. Test driving the 911 Turbo is fun ... but also costly!
