Red leather and jeans?

There are lots of cars with a red interior. I have seen white/beige interiors get stain lines from blue jeans on the leather seat. But my Porsche dealer said red is a good color, any experience?

My first 997tt s cab had those white seat inserts. The only way to keep such light coloured leather is to ALWAYS sit on a white pure cotton bath towel.

I haven't noticed any stains on my seat, but maybe that's because I haven't been driving it enough wearing jeans. The almost white interior in my Range Rover Sport, on the other hand, stains wi jeans. But every two weeks I clean it with Wolfgang's leather cleaner. Looks just like new. Takes 1 minute.

Well worn jeans cause no issues, new jeans however is another story.

Right, it's all about the jeans and nothing to do with the leather. Wear expensive designer jeans, which tend to have more dye and it will transfer to the leather. Wear stone washed Levi's, no worries.

This is true. The leather in my wife's red interior stains pretty bad from jean wear. I remedy the issue by not wearing pants
