Very nice build! Almost exactly what I would optioned if I were to order a car except I never thought of white gauges- but they look sharp. As far as missing red- I have Guards Red 991 C4S and although I like the color, black is certainly a nice alternative and a good change to mix it up. I know you will enjoy, it is gorgeous!
You should have been in Dallas last weekend Urban Meyer has great taste in wives (I need to join her spinning class) and you have TERRIFIC taste in cars
I'm very excited about the white face gauges too! Still nervous that I will miss having a red car though.

Congrats on a beautiful car. You will miss a red car every time you spend hours cleaning the car and take it for a ten minute drive. Red is a hobby, black is a job. Nothing better than a clean, shiny, black car though. Drive it in good health.
Big Congrats Patrick! The hardest part is over. You have only a few more days before you both are united. Enjoy the excitment and tell us about the drive back to NM.

I never had a car that I couldn't clean in 90 minutes or less. The initial polishing and coating will be labor intensive but good technique will make maintenance easy; even with black.

Do it! The same thing happened to me and that's how I ended up with this color combo.
