A car doing 100-200 kmh in 5.2 secs is somewhere around a 5.9-6 second 60-130 mph car which would then be a car to trap in the mid 135-137 mph range one would guess.

What's up bro. The more I find out about the 991 I think it makes sense. The only thing is that we in the states haven't been able to replicate.

Just to compare with my car FBO stock turbo 3,8 DI with a 1/4 mile 135.6 trap I think my vBox on that run showed 0-60 in 2.5 (street tires) and 60-130 was 6.7 which is around 100-200 5.8 sec. So the better tires and trap prep with upgraded turbos for more top end makes this possible. I have heard the 991 stock fuel system has more capacity than the 997.2 so I think that's why you are seeing 991's doing 140+ traps.

I'm betting we will see a GIAC / Champion upgraded turbo 991 do this shortly.

My question would be why are we so far behind on this side of the pond. We don't even have an upgraded intercooler kit option for the 991.

that would make sense , different platform but just to give an example of upgrated porsche engines which in paper look the same :
"The 2014 Porsche Panamera Turbo S houses 2 new turbochargers, larger compressors, uprated injectors, pistons made from a new aluminium alloy and specially coated piston rings"
