At least they didn't take the brakes, I'm sure those are worth more than the wheels/tires

But on a serious note, that is really sad and I feel bad for the owner.
Unbelievable! People just have no respect for other people's property anymore. Makes me sick for the poor owner! I know we have insurance for these things but I still find it to be very upsetting, I don't even want to imagine what I would be like if it happened to me. Best wishes to the owner and I hope they catch whoever did it!
Sad to see. I'd be more concerned about the unseen damage at whatever points these miscreants jacked up the car, along with the components damaged by supporting the body weight on blocks.

I hope there were cameras in that building.. Wonder if the same thing would've happened if he had Center Locks. From the looks of it he must've had the 5 lugs turbo wheel.
Feel bad for the owner, hope his insurance has theft included :\
People keying other people's cars.. stealing their rims, smashing windows.. Can't we live in a world where a human can be happy for one of his kin? Almost feels like animals now have better personalities than us.

exactly! Obviously they don't know what 20k looks like, so they opted for peanuts.
When I got back, my car had been keyed down to the FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) in a line on literally every body panel: hood, fenders, doors, quarter panels, rear hatch. They had no mercy. Did it to several other cars in the lot as well.
Ended up repainting and then selling on.

The CL wheels require a huge bar for leverage. Doubt those wheels come off easily or at all. I know the tool used by P Dealers is expensive. These thugs would not make the investment because there are not that many CL's out in the open. Guess that is another decision to either order CL wheels or get the S.
