Can you say AWD. No problem even in stock. Haven't raced one but spoke to an owner for a long while. Rear breaks loose way to easy. He said he has to put slicks on at the track to even get a good run. Keep in mind he was an old motor head guy not a pro.

Hellcats are really heavy, 4400lbs. Stock 991 Turbos shouldn't have any issues at all unless maybe you heat soak the intercoolers doing a few runs against them, probably not even then.

Deddie, I doubt it. Head out to a local airport run and that conversation will be put to bed real quick at the roll races. I was just out at Caddo Mills a month and a half ago and they were bottom of class B and almost 9 MPH slower through the trap then my car.
From a stop it gets even worse for the hellcat vs a Turbo.

this thread is the only reason I joined this message board. I've been an occasional lurker and checked in here and there. I've got a 2015 Huracan with a full custom M2k exhaust, lowered with HRE 3 piece wheels. The car has done a VBOX certified 0-60 in the low 3 second range. 3.1 sticks in my head but I'm not positive. I can't recall exactly what it was its been so long ago (a few months is a lifetime in my memory it seems these days with a 7 month old baby who thinks getting up every 90 minutes to eat is "cool". ha). so i know it runs good. I know it ate my 458 Italia up when I had it, pulled a year or two old Aventador by several car lengths from 50-150, will outrun my FF (not by as much as you would guess though) and make mincemeat of my wife's gallardo convertible. Haven't had the chance to run it against the Turbo S. I know the S does 0-60 in 2.5 on my VBOX but after that the Huracan feels like it would start to reel it in quickly. Anyway, i know nothing about this particular Hellcat, whether it was stock or a fully built motor, or anything of that sort. But I do know he pulled up beside me as I was minding my own business at about 55 mph down the freeway, started antagonizing me, my thought process went something like this "does this big *** sedan really think he has a shot? This guy's a clown but I'll oblige him even if he does have the "big bad Hellcat" package" to "damn these Hellcats run pretty respectable" to "come on you Italian piece of ****, go!!!". We ran from 55 to about 140 and i pulled him by a little over a car length. He did get me a gear high at the start so I had to wait for the motor to rev but if thats a stock hellcat and just feeling how my Turbo S runs compared to my Huracan north of 60mph, I wouldn't get too cocky with a stock Turbo S. If a hellcat challenged me right now to a race in my Turbo S, I would insist on a standing start because I feel that might be the only advantage I've got....until i "massage" on mine a bit. My Range Rover didn't start ruining BMW M6's days and regular 911's days and my wife's gallardo's days from the start. But with a little work and a little cash, that little SUV sends them packing now.

Hellcats are no joke, my buddy's stock car (albeit on slicks) was running pretty even with me on highway pulls, I had a 250# passenger, but still... My car is GIAC stage 2 w/ full exhaust.

I find it funny how things have changed. I am an old guy. Up until about a few years ago, gearhead to gearhead was ALWAYS from a stop, your typical drag race. Now when your car is inadequate with getting traction to the ground in stock form you need to change the rules of the race.
I guess that is what makes our TT so awesome. Off the showroom floor they are good on the streets, canyons, dragstrip and the track. We don't need special rules to compete with most cars on the road.

Pretty sure a Hellcat will have a very, very hard time keeping up with a stock 991 Turbo S, even from a roll unless it's something crazy like 70mph roll.
Anything below 55mph roll a Hellcat will lose.
Not taking shots at the Hellcat, I think it's an amazing sedan but this is from the Challenger Hellcat I raced couple days ago, maybe the guy had a slow reaction time or whatever but from what I've seen, that's what I'd think.
It was a 3-way, stock 2015 Viper, stock 2015 Challenger Hellcat, and myself. and the Hellcat ended up 3rd about 1-2 cars behind the viper.

I drove a Hellcat... should be called HELLNO this Jan for a very harrowing 500 moles after my old Bimmer bit the dust... the Hellcat is one nasty POS but it is quick once the ball gets rolling downhill... but any decent even stock 991TTS with PDK should pull it from 0-100 mph, 30-130 mph etc
