Dilemma and need help choosing

I know the 911tt vs the tts has been beat to death (sorry) but my problem is a bit different. I have a well optioned new 2015 911tt figured with 10% off msrp vs buying a used 2014 TTS that a had a 191 msrp. The first dilemma is I drove the tts a month ago and loved it but I did not want to spend 166 (194 msrp) on a left over 15 a month or so ago. However, a week ago I decided I was not going to be happy until I bought one so I located the regular turbo and have a good number on it to buy. While I was looking however I found a used 14' tts while dealing on the new TT with only 1600 miles for 154,500 (191msrp). The used car is perfect one owner clear bra and a few cosmetic adds. My main question Is I always get tired of my cars in about 6 months and start wanting something new. I think either car even though I have never driver the regular turbo yet would be great and a blast to drive. Question is buy a new regular turbo for 150 plus fees or the year old tts for 154,500 plus fee's? Which would be an easier sell in 6 months with the least amount of loss? Also for those who have driven both is there much difference in everyday power and driver feel?

To answer your questions:

1. If you not planning on modding it, get the TTS. The power difference is very noticeable, along with the slight louder exhaust sound.

2. Reselling it, I would say the TTS is easier to sell, but I think both cars would depreciate just as much (percentage wise).

3. If you get the TT, people would always ask "why didn't you get the TTS?" LOL.

Ok, jokes aside, a fully loaded TT is about 3k cheaper than an exact equipped TTS. So for 3k difference, you get the TTS badge and a more aggressive tune from factory. For me, it was worth the 3k.

You have to see it the other way around... Base price of the TT is $30k+ cheaper than a Base TTS, and that is not worth the xtra 40HP and S badge

30K difference is because the TT lacks ceramic brakes, PDDC, a whole bunch of interior/exterior bits, no LED lights, no center lock wheels and etc etc.

There is a reason why 80% of the Turbo buyers choose the TTS over the TT, it just makes more sense from a pricing/option perspective. That, plus the "Turbo S" badge, LOL!

I agree you get a lot more car for the money with the TTS but the TT is a year newer if that matters. Also, sdg1872 I can't get them to move off 154k they have been stuck on that number for several days they have it listed for 159k..

I used to make this mistake often, if you thought about getting a better car and have the financial means, just get the better car. Or you will doubt your decision later. Find a way to make up for that delta and always get the best.

Just watch the video below a few times and do it.
